There's not much I can do about this.

This is a small room (14'x14') and serves as our living room in a small cottage. Also, I'm working on a tight budget. Traps in the corners are generally out of the question. I could do wall treatments as long as they're visually pleasing, but I'm generally stuck with the space I've got. Even my speaker placement is very limited (note original post). It's not that I'm against room treatments, it's just that there isn't much that I'm able to do in my situation. Tweaking or changing my speakers seems like the most efficient route to improvement.
