Power in a dedicated listening room

Posted by BadgerDMS on August 3, 2004 at 08:00:06:

OK, so my brother's coming in a couple of weeks and he's agreed to help me frame out my dedicated room and run the electrical wiring around the room. This room will end up being a combo home theater and audio room, but with two different systems in place--one for two channel and one for HT. the two channel features a pair of OTL monoblocks that just are not meant for HT. We are going to put a sub-panel into the dedicated room and run everything from there, the question is what type of wiring (both from the breaker box to the sub-panel and from the sub-panel to the outlets)and outlets should I be looking at? Any helpful hints that I need to consider? Thanks.

Dave
