Scott LC 21 weak channel
Posted by mr9iron on July 2, 2012 at 09:50:21:
recently re-capped a Scott LC 21 pre-map, just replaced the coupling caps, replaced them with .1mk K-40s. It had been capped with .1K Illinois caps. After this was complete, I now have a channel that is weaker than the other one and the "highs" are quite muted in that channel. The DC filter supply was already re-done, the other two filter caps are original.
I am not sure if this is a coincidental problem, but I am horrible at trouble shooting, and would like to know where would I start. It appears to be one side, so I would figure this is easier to figure out. The amp has bee ruled out as the problem..
any help appreciated..
Jeff
