RE: Where can i buy new cassette decks..........

Posted by Uskoke on November 25, 2011 at 12:16:27:

I wanted to buy a new cassette deck, but the only ones available were hotel reception decks (also not real audiophile decks). My vendor, could find an almost brand new Denon DR-M20 (3 head, 3 motors) in the storage of his store, behind some crates. I cleaned its heads and gave it a good demagentizing, and it's like new! I also have a client (I am an electrician) who has his old tape deck decomissioned, so when and if my Denon breaks down I'll ask him if he sells it. My specs-Cambridge audio 340 A SE, 340 T, 340 C, 540 MM, Project debut III, Mordaunt-short avant 904i. All bought brand new except obviously the Denon. It goes without saying that my favourite sources are the analong ones!
