Thanks. Yes I was seeing a wealth of information on the topic. Seems that although many reportedly sound better few if any are quieter than the 5532. There is a 5532P version with tighter tolerances, and a few who donâ€™t think the 5532 sounds so awful.

So I kept it as it was, and am enjoying my functioning replay equipment after a very long slog of unexpected problems.
