In "stock forum" we think think one pair of these 901's sound better than the new Magnepan 1.7's.

Two pair of these 901's "stacked" with all the grilles off with some teflon tape covering all the plastic parts on the back side of these speakers...the ports and other plastic parts sticking out back there. We all think they sound as good as my friend's Quad ESL 2905's !

We will never get a review of these speakers with all the grilles off and teflon tape covering all these plastic parts sticking out BUT maybe some of the 901 owners out there will try this and let us know what they think .
