Yamaha speakers

Hi,
I'm looking for an inexpensive pair of Yamaha speakers in the NS series. This is for my daughter's system that consist primarily of an Onkyo receiver. I don't want to spend too much. I thought of Yamaha because they usually have good bass and she's into hip hop. Any other brand recommendation is appreciated. Budget you said ? Around $150.
