Yup, just like I said, the Sheevaplug itself has no display adapter. He's using a StarTech USB to VGA adapter. Cost is $89 bucks: http://www.startech.com/item/usb2vga-usb-vga-external-multi-monitor-video-adapter.aspx

Did you order one of those, too? I really doubt you'll need it. Keep us informed on your MPD installation when the unit arrives. What kinda DAC will you be using?
