NOt sure what you are saying, I mean if you rip something, why would the Lynx be any different?

Also, I think that the elimination of jitter is optimistic at this point, no matter which way you go.

The sound described by the other poster here is very accurate of the lynx. It is not tubelike, and it is not solidstate sounding either. It just seems like it lets the music through.

You really owe it to yourself to try it so you'll know.
