I'm not into movies but after my wife made me go see "The Descendants" with her I became enamored with Hawaiian music. The stuff on the soundtrack is some of the most genuinely sincere and beautiful music I've heard. Only problem is I keep seeing Clooney's face hanging there in the sweet spot while I'm listening to it.

In retaliation for making me go to the movies I took my wife to the Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival show tour when it stopped in Santa Cruz.
