Here's a "yes" to the Oppo BDP-95. Mine sounds great on Redbook and just wonderful on SACD - very smooth, quiet and layered. It even sounds OK on Pandora playing through those great DACs it has.
A couple SACD's that stand out for me:
Quartetto Italiano: Haydn String Quartets Op. 76 No. 3 and No 4. & Beethoven String Quartet Op. 18 No. 5 (PentaTone)
Vinikour: Goldberg Variations (Delos)
