for the Madisons

Cardersound The Madison is a single driver, back loaded horn (BLH) speaker. They are a large speaker being 6' tall, but once the music begins they all but disappear. I have had many excellent speakers come and go and listened to many more outside of my home and I cannot recall ever having heard any speaker that was more enjoyable to listen too. The Madison is a stellar performer in reproducing voices, bass, highs and is along with my favorite combination of amp/preamp ever, the Don Allen KT-88
s.e.t. and his amazing linestage preamp the best by far at separating the instruments and putting everyone on stage where they belong. The detail is superb as is their imaging. They present the musicians and singers in a manner that with your eyes closed you would be hard pressed not to believe they were in the room with you. We recently had a get together of fellow audiophiles to listen to the Madisons and everyone in attendance pretty much agreed with my assesment. They are the most enjoyable speaker system to listen to that I have ever owned. If ever the opportunity presents itself this is a speaker worth hearing!

Product Weakness: None that I can think of.
Product Strengths: Extremely well rounded sound with great imaging and detail. Easy amp load at 96db perfect for s.e.t. amps.
