Looking for some JBL help/suggestions

Posted by noroom4squares on February 11, 2007 at 10:26:40:

Hello High Efficiency posters.

I have a pair of JBL 375 drivers with the throat & lens, a pair of LE-15 woofers & a pair of LX-5 crossovers that I removed from some custom Baker furniture cabinets. The cabinets were since sold & not optimum for these drivers anyway. I have been using them on open baffles & they sound great but of course not much bass. So I am asking for help with what to do with these drivers. Ported boxes for the woofers & horns for the drivers. If so does anyone know where I can get plans or buy proper horns & cabs. Or should I leave them OB & get a sub? if so, which one? I have a good cabinet maker so building something wont be a problem. I guess I am looking for the best implementation for these drivers.Room is approx 12'x18' gear is all tubes & vinyl Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt
