That's reasonable quality mid-fi equipment that's got good "bang for the buck." It would make great starter vintage equipment. The best place to look up values is completed auctions on eBay. Completed auctions because that shows what someone was actually willing to pay, as well as what no one was willing to pay.

Unless you have pretty good equipment you may want to consider paying you grandmother fair market value and keeping it for a while.

BTW, K240, I have K701s that I really like.
