RE: Denon 3312ci or Marantz SR 6006?

Posted by Dalton on June 23, 2012 at 10:58:50:

I don't know what price you found the Denon at, but here's a link to a site that sells refurbished Denon, Onkyo, Marantz, and other brands you might be interested in perusing. The link is to the page for the Denon 3312. Use it as a jumping-off point to investigate other options.

I'm not sure I'd trust something mechanical (like a DVD player) being factory refurbished, but for receivers or amps it seems like a chance worth taking to save significant cash or even upgrade to a better unit. I bought an Onkyo PR-SC5508 from Accessories4Less 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. Delivery was quick, it came with all the proper accessories and no cosmetic defects, and it has performed flawlessly.

A warning though: Their prices fluctuate, sometimes daily. I got my PR-SC5508 for $1399; it is now listed at $1499 and I've seen it listed as high as $1549. It probably depends on how many they have left in stock. So if you see a good price on something, better jump on it because it might be significantly higher later in the day.
