Do you file classical by bdate of composer or alphabetical?

I file mine by bdate of composer, then, by PC, VC, quintet, trio etc. I like the bdate because it places the music in historical context (i.e. Mozart & Beethoven were contemporaries).
I agree with your point about not cataloging on computer. My file system of the actual media IS my catalog.
