I have my amps on the Promethean's and my phono stage on the shelf, so no, I have never compared the two using the same source. Without a doubt, the Promethean isolates a tube amp better from both ground and airborne vibrations due to the springs it rests on. If you are looking to isolate electronics check out the Nimbus. It's rather expensive but seems to a very well built and interesting design. I'm anxious to try one under my phono stage.
