It *is* well done. You get the 5.1 surround mix at 96KHz 24 bit, lossless; this track takes up more than half the dual-layer disc's capacity. No compromise has been made aside from the exclusion of a stereo version from the DVD-A portion of the disc.
Incidentally, this particular work's primary format is 5.1 surround. The whole thing was conceived for surround sound.
