Go out and find a used Sony 777ES. From what I've read, probably somewhat similar to the Wadia on CD and you get SACD as a bonus. Prices are close to $1500 on AGon and it's one box. You can always turn around and get 'most, if not all' of your money back if you decide to move on. And it's built like a tank.
