Should I sell my Cary CD306 and buy a high end turntable set-up?

I am looking for the best quality playback know to man, is is upsampled cd, lp or SACD. Is the Lp still superior even to the SACD. Please let me know if selling this piece of gear, CD306 is the answer to my sonic dreams.
