This is the interesting thing:

I have a Scott Nixon DacKit running without output opamp, single 1543, no analog filter:

1. output drive - Not as loud as the Moon dac, but still lounder than an Ack that does have opamps for output.

2. noise level - much quieter than Moon, but louder than Ack and VDA2.

Maybe adding so many extra 1543 adds upon the noise floor.
