It is interesting that the size of endowments and whether students can use libraries overnight should form ctiteria for rating universtities.

The ultimate judgement is value based. Hardship is not necessarilly a bad thing. I had students who had hard times but ths stirred them on towards achievement, especially in later life. Now, some students actually use their grants and scholarships to but model airplanes and invest in the stock market.

Anyway, I was quering about the description of a dac as world class. Actually it uses the AD chip which has been well recognised as sounding good, but which has been neglected for several years until now.
