RE: new Triode Wire Labs rave review at StereoTimes

I am that guy and have indeed been replacing most of my cabling with the Triode Wire Lab stuff. For the sake of disclosure, Pete is a local friend of mine, but that doesn't impact what I prioritize sound wise.
In fact, I wasn't a fan of the first generation of TWL cables, feeling them way too soft in terms of attack and timing, but the new revision is a totally different beast.
I've preferred it by a significant margin to Sablon Uber Robostos in my system in every position, with the TWL being more tonally expressive, more full bodied, warmer and ultimately more musical while being just as quiet.
I generally prefer Pete's cables to the big daddy Gran Corona as well in most but not all positions. The exception to this is on tube amps and pres, I feel the Gran Corona has the edge. While the TWL is more tone dense, by direct comparison it is less bold and lively.
I described the difference of having the two cables on my Melody integrated to a friend as the TWL whispering sweet little nothings in my ear--seductive, tender and beautiful while the Gran Corona was more like: STFU and take it!
In my present configuration I have TWL on my power conditioner(8), dac(12), phono pre(10) (and an extra 8 for a solid state integrated I switch in) and a Sablon Gran Corona on my Melody integrated amplifier and I'm content with this voicing.
