Changing to VH Audio power cords and Hotboxes was one of the biggest and most fundamental changes I've made in my system. I kicked myself for not trying power cord upgrades sooner. For consistently large soundstage size (width/depth/height) and clarity as well as dynamics these are terrific bang for you buck.

BTW Furutech does offer an Australian style male ac plug - though it is expensive. Personally, I've found the US style outlets/plugs to offer better grip and sound quality.
