RE: What is the functional gauge of doubling two 22 gauge wires? Buildind a Mac-Mini Power Cord.

Posted by chopper87@aol.com on December 30, 2010 at 12:20:14:

Yea, I figured that I would be pushing the lack of gauge here. The frustration here is that I have two VERY good and costly power cables for my IEC connector on my Music Server PC. However, the Mach2 (Mac-Mini) is fitted with a C7 type connection for power. Maybe I'll just purchase one of the Pangea C7 equipped power cords. I really don't want to spend a bunch on another computer AC cable right now. I had a hard enough time explaining to the Wife why I needed to spen $1,500 plus Pure Music on another music server computer. Thanks for any and all advice in this area (computer power cord not the wife situation) ;).
