Audience Auricaps vs. Vcap Teflon caps in preamps

Posted by Lizard_King on March 15, 2009 at 20:48:17:

Hello,

My buddy and I would like to inquire your opinions about using these high quality capacitors in preamps/phono stages/dacs, etc.

The Audience Auricaps are highly regarded film capacttors that are liked by DIY's and audiophiles. Audience also makes the Aura-T Teflon capacitors which are really high end and costly. The Audience caps are good peroforming, reasonbaly cost and very reliable. I belive that can be said about their Teflon series if caps.

VCaps are a brand that are teflon and bettr priced than the Aura-T capacitors. I do not know about their reliability. Do you think the Vcap Teflon caps wit the midline pricepoint are better to use than the Auricaps and also, the Aura-T teflon caps?

Thanks in Advance.
