Transferable warranty?...

That would certainly be a plus, but according to the owner's manual, "Sanders electronics are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for life. The warranty applies to the original owner."

That minor quibble aside, Sanders has a refreshingly straightforward approach to marketing its products, and would seem to be the type of company one could have confidence in. That free trial with its shipping terms sounds like a winner.
