for the HCA-1500A

A big "bang-for-the-buck" amplifier that makes no apologies for its value. Treble/Midrange is detailed, airy and grain-free, bass is solid and well controlled. Power output is more than ample, maintaining perfect composure and never sounding congested, even at extreme listening levels. Low level listening is superb and maintains plenty of body even at the quietest levels. The amp has provisions for mono-bridging via a toggle switch on the rear of the chasis. Independant level controls are also provided, flanking the mono-mode toggle switch. Front panel consist of a power switch (although the "A" model can be 12v triggered to power on by a compatible preamp), power led, stand-by led. This amp does run hot; being Class A operation exclusively up to 15 watts. I purchase a Vantec Stealth cooling fan (very quiet) to assist in air circulation as my amp is in an enclosed rack. I've had no over-heating problems.
