I don't think you have it quite right either jj. It is of course true that the LP is much less accurate as has been proven many times over but the problem lies in the nature of the inaccuracy. It isn't that we prefer inaccuracy because it 'sounds good'. The miniscule digital inaccuracy seems to be much more offensive to many people (myself and apparently yourself included) than the much larger analog LP inaccuracy.Dave
