Thank you for all the responses, now I begin to understand.
Thank you apoman60612 for clarifying the thickness of the plinth, sounds like the Jr plinth is thicker than the MK-3, and MK-4 steel acrylic plinth, and that's why Mike at VPI said the new isolators would not fit the Jr, but if I get the MK-4 one piece plinth(still available from VPI), then those new isolators would fit. Am I correct? I always thought the more you pay, the thicker the plinth, hence the original MK-4 plinth is thicker than the Jr.
Thank you all for showing the different isolators that would fit the VPI HW19.
Now I have to consider the cost and benefit to upgrade the 19 Jr. since my 19 Jr is from 1999 with the PT-6 arm, a very average turntable. I have a feeling that the money that I'd pour into upgrading the 19Jr could buy a new Classic. VPI knows it's business.
