Hi,
Like any market, I am sure he (Mapleshade) w1ll sell some.
Fact is the motor has poor speed control so you will never get true detail from it no matter what you do with the arm.
High flutter causes loss of detail. Same problem that plagues light platter belt drives.
Can’t fix it either because it uses simple hall transistors to detect and control platter rotation, that is no match for the Technics full cylcle detection linear generator.
The arm is nowhere as good as the 1200 arm.
In fact if you study that Stanton arm carefully , then take a look at the Denons, you will see that they are identical!
Both clearly come from the same factory.
Remember that the Stantons are strictly dj machines, the 1200 is a lab grade professional table that happened to find a home with dj’s. I hope we don’t have to go about re educating everyone to this!
I have thought really hard about going forward, and frankly, as long as Panasonic will make parts, the 1200 is the table to offer.
