we wont mention the first record player that gouged my old 45s to death in 59-62.
we will start with the:
1. electrophonic all in one with bsr tt, receiver, and speakers of not bad LOOKING veneered cabinets. nice looking crap.
2. dual 1215/shure m91e, almost lived up to being a dual.
3. rabco st4/XLM-XLNT!
4. technics SL120/grace 707/XLM and grado f1+ pretty good.
5. another st4 with various carts, including the XLM and f1+ and modified by me to great effect. it lost favor when i started to hear the wow and flutter.
6. kenwoood kd500/707
7. pioneer PLL1000a, not bad, auto shutoff.
8. maplenoll athena-the best ever sound in my system, but i have to get the air management up to snuff.
9. sota sapphire/mmt..great sound, highly recommended. my primary tt.
10. my old kd500/707 was given back to me and has had the speed instability repaired, waiting for me to mount the f9e. with two phono sections in the preamp, i can run either at will.
fun stuff.
...regards...tr
