for the TTweights micromat

Just installed the TTweights micromat and also the 580gm brass and aluminium clamp. They looked like a million bucks and now to see whether they sound like a million bucks!
First off with a record I just played before their arrival, Ronstadt hasten down the wind. Voice seems too bright but good shimmer effect, bass tighter and highs seems good but bright. Check the vta and yes tail was too high cos the previous mat was thicker that the micromat. Adjusted and now things seems all round better. I decided to just let the system warm up with the first side.
Now serious listening and by now it is clearly in a different sound spectrum from previously. The main improvements I heard are a quieter noise level thus rendering everything more composed and distinct. Voices now have more body and the singer seems to be more purposeful in her diction and voicing. My wife says the music seems softer and more soothing, which I take to mean better. The sound stage also seems much improved with mass instruments and voices now better spread and distinct. Depth of soundstage is now much more obvious with better layering of instruments.
Highs seem more shimmering and bass is tighter. Overall then PRAT is a couple of notches better but not in the etchy sense but with smoothness and liquidity.
What is the scale of improvement? I would say better than say changing tubes on my EAR834p phonostage and equal to my upgrade of cartridge from Denon DL103r to 304.
So if anyone thinks they have done everything possible with their turntable, buying the micromat and clamp from TTweights will truly surprise you.

Product Weakness: A bit pricey but copper cost
Product Strengths: Beautiful products, much improved PRAT
