I remember reading about others with the Teres 255's and them changing from string to mylar tape belts and I was going to do it too but I really liked the way my Teres 255 sounded with the string so i just left it alone. If aint broke do fix it cliche came to mind and with alot of regrets of getting rid of audio gear that I wished i had back so I just left because it sounds so nice with the string belt and Tube Phono section from my Counterpoint SA-1000 that I upgraded. I'm still a very happy camper. I have been interested in how my table will sound with that direct coupler from Chris. :)
