Nope, I've never heard a Morch on a VPI, though I did hear a Graham 2.2; no help there. Sounds like a great idea. I imagine a Morch would really liven things up a bit, particularly on a well-supported stock Scout with an SDS. I have heard VPIs with Dynavector carts, but there too, it wasn't enough to mitigate the VPI's rhythm and pace problems for my tastes, but it was certainly a step in the right direction.
Speaking of Dyna and VPI, I think your current 17D3, or perhaps an XX-2 (mk 1 - I haven't heard a mk 2), are your best bet. The XV-1 might be a little too rich and robust.
