I spray a little onto a microfiber cloth and lightly lay it on the spinning record. You may choose to do just a little area and move across the record; but you may have to reapply more spray to the cloth.

it evaporates so quickly that you have to act fast! But it seems to work well, especially on new records and removing mold release.
