Garrard 401 Project - Help?!

A friend recently loaned my a Garrard 401 and a near complete plinth to finish up and get running. In order to secure the 401 to the plinth I need to find nuts that will work with the fixing studs or bolts that secure the base plate to the plinth. I have researched the asylum and other audio sites for this information and the majority reported the bolts are 6mm x 1mm and use the BA (British Association) thread. Where can I find nuts and longer bolts that will work to secure this 401 to a plinth? Actual addresses, names, or contact information would be awesome! Thanks!
