pivot to spindle is 222mm
pivot to spindle can not be less than piviot to stylus for any modern alignment methods. Probably just a typo.

I dont have any experience with the specific gear in question, BUT other gear WILL NOT align properly (baerwald) if the manufacturers recommended mounting distance is observed. I have had the WORST time setting up a properly mounted rega arm with a grado cart.
If you are using a template MADE for an assumed pivot to spindle distance (walytractor, or similar) this can be an issue, but if you are using a "universal" protractor and everything falls into place its probably not a problem.
