If his tonearm has a pivot to spindle distance of 215 mm and assuming he's setting the turntable up for Baerwald alignment, then the effective length is 233 mm (232.8 mm). As long as the cartridge can be mounted such that the stylus is 233 mm from the pivot point (and can be rotated to the proper position) then there isn't a problem. Otherwise...
