I beleve there is truth in what you say. I need to learn to mount a cartridge myself. I guess it's simply that fear of the unknown that has kept me from doing so.

By the way, love your system! The Sixpacks, the Cary pre and hand-built cabinet are very nice indeed--I'll bet it sounds great! How long have you had the Six-Packs? Are you using stock tubes? If so, have you ever tried any other tubes?

And---not only do you have a great rig, but are from the deep south as well--where bouts?
