over what you have now. A friend of mine owned a '55 set up with the same arm as the one you are considering since new and we did some comparisons with a couple other tables. Even an Empire 598 sounded better consistantly and we tried 3 different cartridges. He settled on a Thorens 125 that didn't cost that much more than what you are considering for the CJ. The CJ I think is a good entry level table but for not a lot more you can find something much better...
