An interesting quirk of the 2M Black Shibata stylus

A few times now, I've started a record and gotten really quiet, distorted music because the stylus didn't drop into the groove and was instead playing the lands between grooves! A little bump and it drops down in. I've never had a cartridge that could stay up there like that.
