As you say, "bent". Since it's not much use in its current form, why not remove it and try to straighten it out? I would think that a nice flat faced vise and gentle pressure could take care of it. Of course I've never tried this so "at your own risk" applies. I don't know if other cuing mechanisms fit or would work on the Alphason.
