Thanks for your reply. I do try to get it parallel but if I have a tall cartridge like an Ortofon MC Supreme, if I try to get it parallel the end of the cueing mechanism is too high at the end of the record. This means that the tonearm effectively lifts near the end so that the last track won't play right through.
