Yes, although there is too much treble cut onto the LP in the first place, it's the mistracking on the sibilant sounds that really makes them stand out. So with the Shure V15V-MR when he sings "Share it fairly..." it actually sounds smooth from a distortion standpoint although the entire LP is still quite bright. The 12dB worth of distortion - the harsh, spitty, splattery "S" sounds - is not there.
