Obviously, the f'ing cartridge doesn't care what it's playing but if it's harsh but very fast ... then it's good for rock! :-))

If it's mellow (and by definition, probably slower) ... then it's more appropriate for classical.

Cartridges *do* sound different, ya know! :-))
