The 400 was better in some aspects and it stayed in the system until I stumbled across an SL-1300; that got replaced in slightly more than a month by a ScottRT-modded SL-1600MKII. I still like the 300; it has such an unusual arm. I had thought about trying to put that arm on the 400; along with modifying the 400 for 78 rpm.
