So, if I understand correctly...
as long as I watch the display, for whatever timed period I wish, say 1 minute...
the display will clear to zero, or to a new measurement, each revolution (1.8 seconds if @ 33.3rpm)
and if I watch dilligently, I should be able to tell if the platter is consistantly spinning accuratly during the timed period..
to me, that is as important than a one-time measured speed.
