I have a couple of LPs that seem to push high-frequency tracking ability to the limit. One is the 30th anniversary edition of "Dark Side Of The Moon". My old Shure V15V-MR could track the entire album without any sibilance whatsoever. My Audio-Technica AT150MLX can just about do it too although it could be a touch better in that area. But I've heard that this LP gives many other cartridge fits.

So does anyone know if the Ortofon 540MK2 can handle this particular cutting without sibilance? The 540's excellent bass and mid-range tracking ability is well-known, so I'm just curious how it performs when really tested in the treble.

Thanks!
