Peter Ledermann is always available if you try by phone. You may have to go through the recorded matrix of options, and then ask for him, but you can always get him, unless he is at a show. That has been my experience. If you have not spoken to him personally, I would suggest you do so.

Regarding your suggestions, they are not realistic. Peter has been working on cartridges for 30 years. There are only a few people in the world who do this. Peter is the only one in the USA that I know of. He is also the only rebuilder of cartridges that I know of who has a universally positive reputation.

If you feel that "there are people out there who can do this kind of work" maybe you can share who they are? I know of- Van den Hul, Allaerts, Garrott Bros (in name only) Expert Stylus, Cartridge Man (Len Gregory), PhonoPhono. That's it. Worldwide. Some of the above mentioned rebuilders are now taking six months to turn orders around. And with the dollar being what it is....

Good Luck,

Jonathan
